Agent Experience (AX) borrows its name and shape from User Experience: where UX asks whether a human can accomplish a task without friction, AX asks the same question of an agent acting on a human’s behalf. The two overlap but diverge in specifics — an agent doesn’t get confused by a cluttered layout, but it does get stuck on an ambiguous tool schema, a link that only works after a click event, or documentation that assumes context it was never given.
